Solid spruce/mahogany 16 dreadnought-shaped and ladder braced archtop body looks to be built by Regal. No idea what brand was intended here. Probably NOT a Kalamazoo, however, because I've never seen this model.
One long and several smaller top cracks are tightly cleated (I've had the back off). No side or back cracks. Neck set is tight and flush and fretboard is flat, but there is a drop-off where the FB extends over the body. Still playable out there, but action gets a little high. Slight top deflection, but well within what is acceptable for these older archtops.
Ladder braced guitars are especially prone to this. Plenty of strumming wear that shows in pics. Strange series of side dents to the treble side of neck. Neck may have been roughly removed at some point. However, (and fortunately) if so it was re-glued cleanly.Plays, frets, and intonates nicely. Big tubby bottom end with crisp midrangey mids and highs.
