Guild D-50 Bluegrass Special dreadnaught guitar, made in 1964. Condition is very good: back of neck wear, wear around pick guard, miscellaneous dings and scratches. No cracks, repaired or otherwise. Bridge plate and bracing all good.
This guitar is original except for the following: frets 1-7 replaced; professional neck re-set appx. 3 years ago, new bone nut, new bone saddle.Specs: spruce top, Brazilian Rosewood back, side, bridge; 3 piece mahogany/maple neck; ebony fingerboard, Grover RotoMatic tuners, 25.5" scale, 1 11/16" nut width. Original hardshell case in good condition. This is a wonderful sounding, resonant guitar.... Absolutely on a par with Martin D-28 but a few thousand dollars cheaper. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Today, 8/06/'19, I swapped one back photo for the one I had before, realizing that the old photo was not very clear. I hope this one is better (photo #3).
