Lots of repairs in its 67 years, but they were done well. No rattling braces, straight neck, frets dont buzz. It could use a neck reset if you plan on playing much above the 7th fret, it still plays great for cowboy chords. Frets are in great condition.
This old timer still has its original ivory saddle glued into the bridge, Ive never seen another 0-15 that didnt have a replacement compensated saddle installed, so you might want to update to compensated, but I didnt hear any intonation problems for whatever thats worth. The only unoriginal part on this relic is the tuners, theyre chrome Grovers, not plastic butter bean, but definitely old as well. The worst damage this has survived is a crack across the neck block, but it is solid and cleats have stopped it from spreading further throughout the top bout. Its got that old hide-glue 1950s-built Martin tone, but it wont win any beauty contests. Comes with original chipboard case and new Martin Retro custom light strings installed. The item "1954 Martin Guitar 0-15" is in sale since Thursday, June 24, 2021.
