VINTAGE PAISTE 20 GIANT BEAT WHITE LABEL 1915 GRAMS. Carmine writes in his authentication letter, the 20 Paiste Giant Beat in your possession was played by John Bonham on the 1968-69 tour the Zep did with Vanilla Fudge. John borrowed and used them for all performances. What an amazing find for rock history.

Part of the John Bonham, Led Zeppelin sound came from John meeting Carmine Appice and using his gear. Eventually Carmine got John hooked up with Ludwig and Paiste, but from December 26th 1968 to February 15, 1969 John used Carmines gear, even his drums for shows. Check out Led Zeppelin the concert files book for more information! We see the authenticity chain stay alive with letters from Carmine Appice and Greg Dorsett from Rock Star Guitars.

Please see the original listing on: rockstarsquitars. Carmine has well documented the story of John using his cymbals and drums.

We know where most of Johns drums went. Here is a chance to own part of rock history a once in a lifetime opportunity. Here is some information about the Paiste Giant beat line. The original Paiste Giant Beat line was launched in 1967 and produced white labels at the nine o'clock position and had no serial numbers. In 1971 the label changed to black and to the 12 o'clock position and serial numbers were added.

Making the pre serial numbered, white label Giant Beat the rarest and most desired Paiste Line of all time. Finding these cymbals with a White Logo is rare and exciting.

Cymbal has the embossed logo at the three o'clock position. Cymbal has the white logo at the nine o'clock position.

No keyhole issue, very smooth edges. Same exact sound as 1970 Royal Albert Hall when Zeppelin played. John used the white label a giant Beat for Zeppelin 2,3, 4 and later studio work. John Bonham (Zeppelin), Carmen Appice (Vanilla Fudge), Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) and countless other musicians recorded and toured with these cymbals.
