Cosmetic condition: Just the way we like em-various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, scuffs, gouges, and scrapes, with visible finish checking throughout most of the instrument and a handful of areas of finish wear. This was obviously someones go-to for many years and shows signs of wear consistent with age, but there are no cracks or breaks, and its structurally sound. The finish around the neck joint has chipped away, but there is no separation. Frets show wear consistent with age, but still have some life in them, and all notes intonate properly up and down the length of the fingerboard. The tailpiece is a replacement as well. Body: Solid mahogany body with dual horns in cherry finish. Tune-O-Matic bridge and replacement stopbar tailpiece. Weight: 7 lb, 3.7 oz.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl rectangle inlays. 1 9/16 nut width, 24 3/4 scale length. Black headstock overlay with gold Gibson logo and crown. Chrome sealed Gibson tuners function perfectly. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and while frets show wear consistent with age, they still have some life left in them.Neck is straight and plays great up and down the length of the fingerboard. Case: Original hard shell case included.
