A very rare SBA Tenor saxophone Silver and Gold plated. In October 1949 he left the Selmer factory in Paris and was sent to the Selmer factory in London where he received his matt and shiny silver plating and Goldwash engraving.Only a few of these have been made by Selmer. The saxophone is used but still in a very nice condition. Has some light usage traces, no real damage or dents. And has recently been overhauled.
I have been playing the saxophone for 40 years. And that was not because of his beautiful appearance, but because this saxophone is the best I have ever played. He cost a fortune but he has been worth every tone I've played on it.Particularly due to age and condition, my real playing time ends and I sell this beautiful instrument because of that. Of course I will answer all the questions that arise and of course I can also send more photos. The saxophone can be sent, I can bring it against travel costs or be picked up. There is a valuation report, drawn up by a renowned saxophone repairman. I can send this per photo if desired. This is a Selmer saxophone made in 1949/1950 for the European market. The neck is original and has a coresponding serial number. This serial number was placed at a later unknown time at the request of the company where the saxophone was insured. Shippingcost will be insured worldwide between 295 and 370 euro. Small sound fragment of the SBA tenor.
