Serial # G8 7067 Manufactured: July 1995 This bass is in mint, unplayed condition. If if was hanging in your local music store, you'd be hard pressed to prove it wasn't brand new if not for the serial number dating to 1985. The lacquered finish is pristine and glows. Rickenbacker used the best wood with the nicest flaming for these special edition basses. They are amazing up close and personal. The 4001v63 is a reproduction of the 4001 given to McCartney in 1965. All electronics are in perfect working order. No buckle rush or hazing of any kind on the back. No hazing or pick marks on the front finish or pickguard. The frets have no wear. Looks like it was never played. The fretboard has no wear.

Looks like it was never touched. The back of the neck is flawless. The tuners on the headstock are shiny and new looking. No sign of having been touched.

No dings on the side walls. No dings or scratches on the headstock. All hinges and latches on the case are working perfectly. The two cloth straps that hold the case open at a 45 degree angle have come unglued. There is a 2 crack on one corner that does not affect the integrity of the case in any way. The Rickenbacker logo is in nice shape. The bass was manufactured in July 1995, as stated in line 4 of the Details.
