For sale is a Martin Om 42 guitar from 2001 , with a spruce top , with exceptionally straight grain to the wood , rosewood back & sides , the book matched back with beautiful deep figuring , mahogany neck , inlaid with intricate abalone inlays. Great tone all the way up the register , perfect for either finger picking or single note playing , very comfortable neck (straight) and action. The guitar is in very good condition and has been used as a home guitar and not gigged ; there are four very small, half a pin head sized or smaller shallow knocks to the top , and some typical surface lacquer checks to the lower bout on the left and right hand sides near the edge , but these are very slight , and visible only when reflecting light off the highly polished/gloss finish, hopefully these show up in the photographs. There is also some general very , very light scuffs to the back , from playing ware , but again these are only visible when held up to reflective light.
Any other effects you see in the photographs is just reflections off the gloss finish. Included is the original case , with only minor scuffs , and the original booklet and truss rod key and invoice and booklet. If you need further information follow the link below to the Martin website. For UK buyers there is a possibility of meeting up if you live anywhere between London and the North of England , if you are prepared to pay some petrol cost. A Great Guitar , any questions please ask , and good Luck.
