1951 King Super 20 Tenor Saxophone with sterling silver double socket neck, full set of side pearls keys, and what appears to be a silver or silver plated bell. Comes with an SBK case. This saxophone belonged to a prominent Jazz artist. The pads are in good condition as you can see from the photos. It plays strong and powerful.
The feel of it is really nice. The serial numbers match the neck and body and are 320 which dates this beauty to the early 1950s. The lacquer has wear as you can see by the photographs. Not sure if original or not.
This really is a amazing players saxophone that any musical artist would be glad to have. Like I have mentioned in my ad, this is a King Super 20 Tenor saxophone. Bell may be silver plated. All I know is that it is an older lacquer, due to the color and usage of the sax.
This Super 20 does play nice and it belonged to a professional Jazz saxophonist. If you want a very good King Super 20 with side pearl keys this is a great horn. This is a killer saxophone and it has smooth action. Forgot to mention that this classic King Super 20 comes with a Selmer Mouthpiece also. The bow is in really nice shape with no major work ever done on it. Their is no resolders on the Super 20. Very straight, and the pads are in fine shape. I wish I could put more photos up but it won't let me.
